My foot hurts!

So the side of my foot was rather sore after going to the beach on Saturday, but I thought nothing of it. Today however, I was at work all day on my feet, and my foot was rubbing against my shoe all day. Finally I decided to see why it was hurting so much. It turned out that I had a piece of glass, crystal, crystallized venom, or possibly even a diamond embedded in the side of my foot! It feels much better now.

Quotes to think on

Rather than write a full blog post which I do not have the time for, I decided to simply post a couple quotes. The first is taken from Rushdoony's Biblical Philosophy of History quoting C. S. Pierce:

Pragmatism is the principle that every theoretical judgment expressible in a sentence in the indicative mood is a confessed form of thought whose only meaning, if it has any, lies in its tendency to enforce a corresponding practical maxim expressible as a conditional sentence having its apodosis in the imperative mood. (38)

Now before you fry your motherboard. . . .Rushdoony was kind enough to boil it down to a level which I could understand: "'Truth,' we might say, is thus whatever works. . .(38)"

On a different note, here are a few verses I read this morning in Proverbs 9.
